Ben Simmons (knee) out indefinitely with dislocated knee cap

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Sixers guard Ben Simmons has suffered a subluxation of his left knee cap and is out indefinitely while considering treatment options. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is certainly a different story than was told Wednesday night when it was announced Simmons would be day-to-day after an MRI on his left knee came back clean. It's unclear how much time the All-Star will be forced to miss but this diagnosis doesn't sound very encouraging. He is currently considering treatment options and the Sixers should provide more of a concrete timetable for his recovery when a decision is made. With Shake Milton running the point for the Sixers in Orlando, Simmons absence should open up some more run for Alec Burks and Raul Neto while Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and Josh Richardson all figure to benefit from increased usage.
