Paul George delivers down the stretch in win

by Jon Mathisen | Clippers Correspondent | Thu, Aug 6th 9:23pm EDT

Paul George racked up 24 points (10-21 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds and six assists over 37 minutes as the Clippers beat the Mavericks 126-11 on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

This game was a lot closer than the final score indicates but thanks to some clutch shooting by George down the stretch, the Clips pulled away for the win. Despite shooting 50-percent from three tonight, he only attempted four triples. After going 14-for-21 (66-percent) from three over the first two games since the restart, PG is 3-for-11 in the last two contests. Shooters shoot, though, so there will be plenty more attempts in the future. It's hard to find much to complain about as PG13 is averaging 26.3 points/per game since the restart. The locked in shooting guard is primed to keep it going on Saturday against the Blazers.
