Ben McLemore comes through with 20 points in spot-start

by Alex Burns | Fri, Aug 7th 12:11am EDT

Ben McLemore provided 20 points (7-13 FG, 1-1 FT, 5-10 3PT), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block throughout 30 minutes of playing time during the Rockets 113-97 victory over the Lakers on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact:

With Russell Westbrook (quad) sitting this one out, McLemore entered the starting lineup and continued his impressive shooting. He nailed five three's and was the teams second leading scorer behind James Harden's 39 points. It's likely that Westbrook will return to the lineup Sunday against the Kings which would send McLemore back to the bench, however, his performance thus far in Orlando has certainly earned him a larger role moving forward. In the Rockets four seeding games, he is averaging 12.5 points while drilling 3.5 three's per game.
