Danuel House Jr. chips in 14 points in Thursday's win over the Lakers

by Alex Burns | Fri, Aug 7th 12:24am EDT

Danuel House Jr. put up 14 points (5-13 FG, 2-2 FT, 2-9 3PT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during the Lakers 113-97 victory over the Lakers on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

House Jr. has been filling in for the injured Eric Gordon (ankle) and has been quite impressive, averaging 16.7 points throughout the Rockets four seeding games. Although he managed to score 14 points on Thursday, he couldn't seem to find a rhythm from deep, shooting a mere 22 percent from three after shooting greater than 40 percent in each of the Rockets previous three games. James Harden hinted in his post game interview that Eric Gordon may be able to return for Sunday's game against the Kings which would likely send House Jr. back to the bench. He should, however, continue to serve an important role for the Rockets and has proved earlier this season that he can still be productive in fantasy despite coming off of the bench.
