Jaxson Hayes totaled four points (1-2 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, and two assists in nine minutes in the Pelicans' 140-125 loss to the Kings on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Hayes logged only nine minutes in the Pelican's loss to the Kings, making it his second game straight, failing to record at least 10 minutes of playing time. Even though it seemed early on that he would be the primary backup to Derrick Favors, the team has significantly cut down his time in the rotation. It is unclear how the Pelicans will use him moving forward, thus tremendously capping his fantasy appeal in deep-league and DFS formats. It would be best to keep him on waivers as he is a natural fade at this time.
