Ish Smith shines in loss, drops 18/10/6 line with four steals

by Dan Titus | Sat, Aug 8th 5:30am EDT

Ish Smith filled the stat sheet in his second start of the bubble, scoring 18 points (7-16, 2-2 FT) and dished out a team-high 10 assists, to go along with six rebounds, four steals, and two three-pointers across 32 minutes in a loss to the Pelicans on Friday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith continues to outplay Shabazz Napier at point-guard, as Napier only saw 19 minutes of action in tonight's loss. Smith looked to be entrenched as the starter and did a bit of everything, achieving his first double-double this year. Smith is on a tear, and it'd be wise to give him a shot in all DFS formats, as with averages of 14.6 points, 6.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 1.2 three's in 27.8 minutes per game across five games in Orlando.
