Frank Jackson gets 13 points in win over the Wizards

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Sat, Aug 8th 2:31pm EDT

Frank Jackson totaled 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3PT), one rebound, and two assists in 20 minutes in the Pelicans' 118-107 in win over the Wizards on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson was able to get 13 points against the Wizards, logging 20 minutes of play. After averaging three minutes across the first three “seeding” games, he has played 20 minutes or more in two consecutive contests. It is still unclear what this means for him in the rotation moving forward; however, it is worth noting that Jackson is getting more time at the backup point-guard role over teammate Nickeil Alexander-Walker. If the Pelicans continue to provide Jackson with the minutes, he can be a worthwhile deep-league asset, as well as a cheap flier in DFS as a part of a stars-and-scrubs lineup.
