Reggie Jackson gets the start, logs team-high 35 minutes

by Jon Mathisen | Nuggets Correspondent | Sat, Aug 8th 4:47pm EDT

Reggie Jackson scored 17 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go along with five assists and two rebounds across 35 minutes as the Clippers held on to beat the Blazers 122-117 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Due to Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley sitting out, both Jackson and Landry Shamet started. His 17 points were the most he's scored since joining the Clippers back in late February and his 35-minutes played led the team. Games like this prove Jackson can be a fantasy asset when given the opportunity and playing time. And with the Clippers likely to start resting more starters as they get closer to the playoffs, Jackson has some DFS appeal over their next three games.
