Nickeil Alexander-Walker can’t “find” his shot in loss to the Kings

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Timberwolves Correspondent | Wed, Aug 12th 8:02pm EDT

Nickeil Alexander-Walker totaled nine points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3PT, 2-2 FT), six assists, two steals, and one block in 24 minutes in the Pelicans' 112-106 loss to the Kings on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Walker was unable to find his shot against the Kings and shot 30.0 percent from the floor and 20.0 percent from beyond the arc. With many starters being unavailable for the season finale, it wouldn't be a surprise if he saw more opportunity to see the floor. He has shown the ability to produce when provided the playing time and will look to do so against the Magic this Thursday. Although the match-up isn't ideal, Walker could serve as an ultra-cheap value flier in DFS, given his potential upside.
