The 22-year-old has been on a tear in Orlando, averaging 23.1 points and 8.7 rebounds through seven games as a starter. Porter Jr. played sparingly during the regular season after sitting out the entire 2018-2019 campaign due to a back injury, but it appears that Denver is finally ready to unleash their promising rookie. His emergence in the starting lineup will likely push either Will Barton (knee) or Garry Harris (hip) to the second unit.
