Romeo Langford (wrist) leaves game in 4Q, gets six points in spot start

by Dan Titus | Fri, Aug 14th 4:35am EDT

Celtics rookie SG Romeo Langford exited Thursday's contest in the fourth quarter with a wrist injury, scoring six points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3PT, 0-0 FT) and chipping in four rebounds, four assists and one turnover across 30 minutes in a loss to the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact:

Langford got the spot start in place of Jaylen Brown and was on triple-double watch in the first half - getting four points, three rebounds, and three assists on 2-of-5 shooting. Unfortunately, the rookie exited with 9:58 left in the fourth quarter and did not return after being ruled out with a sprained right wrist. With no update provided by Celtics HC Brad Stevens, Langford's plans for earning a spot in the playoff rotation are on hold at the moment.
