Blake Griffin (knee) feels Fri, Aug 14th 11:02am EDT By Alex Burns DET During his media teleconference on Thursday, Pistons star Blake Griffin told reporters that he feels "a world of difference" in his knee compared to January. He mentioned that his strength is way up and that he feels more explosive. (Omari Sankofa on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The six-time NBA All-Star only played in 18 games during the 2019-2020 season before being shut down to undergo a season-ending procedure on his knee back in January. For a player that relies on athleticism as much as Griffin does, it's really encouraging to hear that he feels stronger and more explosive since the surgery. His contract ties him to Detroit through the 2021-2020 season and although the Pistons are entering rebuild mode, Griffin should still receive plenty of opportunity to produce when on the court. The 31-year-old forward hobbled his way to 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 18 games this season before being shutdown.
