Marcus Morris plays tough, helps lead Clips to victory

Marcus Morris collected 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt), six rebounds, four steals, and one assist across 32 minutes of play in the Clippers 118-110 playoff win over the Mavericks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Morris stepped up big in this one, hitting some clutch shots and coming up with some key defensive stops when the Clips needed it most. One of his biggest contributions, however, didn't show up in the box score. He got into a tussle with Luka Doncic in the third quarter and was shoved by Kristaps Porzingis, who came to Doncic's defense. Porzingis was subsequently ejected and the momentum shifted towards LA. These are the types of games the Clippers envisioned Morris having when they traded for him back in February. They'll need him again on Wednesday for game two.
