Grizzlies Executive VP Zach Kleiman said that Jaren Jackson Jr. has underwent successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and is expected to make a full recovery. (Evan Barnes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Even though it was the same knee he sprained in February, Kleiman doesn't expect it to be a lingering issue going forward. This is certainly the best possible news for this young Grizzlies squad who just lost seven of nine games in the bubble and failed to make the playoffs. The 20-year-old PF/C will continue his rehab in Memphis and is currently on track to return before next season. For fantasy purposes, it will be important to pay close attention to his rehab process in order to determine his value heading into next season.
