CJ McCollum pours in 18 points in 33 minutes
by Dan Titus | Pelicans Correspondent | Tue, Aug 25th 3:32am EDT
CJ McCollum scored 18 points (5-13 FG, 2-3 3PT, 6-8 FT) with five rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one turnover in 33 minutes of play in a 135-115 loss to the Lakers in Game 4.
Fantasy Impact:
McCollum had defenders in his face all-night-long and also battled the referees for several no-calls on hard, physical drives to the rim. McCollum was forced to pick up the slack once Damian Lillard exited with an apparent knee injury. McCollum is averaging 20.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.5 three's this series, and should Lillard not be ready for a full load on Wednesday, DFS players should be looking for McCollum to get a boost in production in Game 5.
