Chris Paul scores 16 points with six rebounds in Game 5 loss

by Dan Titus | Warriors Correspondent | Sun, Aug 30th 4:30am EDT

Chris Paul scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3PT, 3-4 FT) and chipped in six rebounds along with three assists, one block, and four turnovers across 30 minutes in a 114-80 blowout loss to the Rockets on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Paul put up an average line of 16/6/3 and a block, but he'll need to be more active heading into Game 6. Paul was an uncharacteristically -28 plus/minus in tonight's contest and did little to slow the Rockets backcourt of Eric Gordon and James Harden. Paul is averaging 20.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.2 steals through five games in their first-round series against Houston. He'll look to improve on his performance in Game 6 on Monday.
