Patrick Beverley (calf) expected to play on Thursday

According to Clippers HC Doc Rivers, he expects Patrick Beverley to be ready for Game 1, stating, “you’ll see him for sure. He looks pretty good.” (Mark Medina on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Welcomed news for the Clippers backcourt as Beverley will provide a much-needed spark to the Clippers defense. Reggie Jackson has been solid in his absence offensively but doesn't offer the defensive intensity that comes naturally to Beverley's game. Should he return for Game 1, he'll have his hands full guarding Jamal Murray of the Nuggets on Thursday. PatBev can be ignored for DFS purposes as he is likely going to be on a minutes restriction coming back from a calf injury.
