Anthony Davis closes out series with fifth consecutive double-double

by Dan Titus | Lakers Correspondent | Sun, Sep 13th 3:55am EDT

Anthony Davis notched another double-double on Saturday, scoring 13 points (4-9 FG, 5-6 FT) along with 11 rebounds, four assists, one block, and six turnovers across 34 minutes in a Game 5 win over the Houston Rockets.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis only took nine shot attempts but was able to hit double figures and collect his fifth consecutive double-double in the Lakers' second-round series against the Rockets. Davis was a force in every game besides this one as the Rockets' small-ball lineup had no answer for one of the most versatile and skilled big men in the NBA. The Lakers' next opponent has yet to be determined, but both teams offer more physicality and size in the frontcourt than the Houston Rockets. In his past five games, Davis is averaging 25.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 0.8 steals 58.8% shooting.
