James Harden paces Rockets with 30 points in Game 5 elimination

by Dan Titus | Rockets Correspondent | Sun, Sep 13th 4:17am EDT

James Harden produced 30 points (12-20 FG, 2-8 3PT, 4-4 FT) and added six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and six turnovers across 42 minutes in a 119-96 loss to the LA Lakers to be eliminated from the NBA playoffs.

Fantasy Impact:

Harden did his best to keep the Rockets playoff hopes alive, but the team fell short, getting blown out in Game 5. He didn't receive much support as Russell Westbrook was the only other Rockets player to reach double figures with 10 points. Though Harden and the Rockets were eliminated from the playoffs, Harden did his part, averaging 29.4 points, 7.2 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.8 triples while shooting 47% from the field in the second-round series versus the Lakers.
