Kemba Walker got hot in the first half, drops 23 in Game 2 loss

by Dan Titus | Fri, Sep 18th 3:52am EDT

Kemba Walker paced the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, scoring 23 points (9-19 FG, 4-11 3PT, 1-2 FT) along with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and five turnovers across 34 minutes of play in a 106-101 loss to the Miami Heat.

Fantasy Impact:

Walker scored 14 of his 23 points in the first half and hit a couple of big triples in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell short in Game 2. Walker was aggressive from the tip and showed up again on the defensively, extending his block streak to three games. He'll continue getting opportunities to score with the Heats' focus on stopping Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Walker will get plenty of scoring chances as the series wears on, and his play warrants consideration in DFS lineups.
