Jamal Murray registered 19 points (7-17 FG, 0-4 3PT, 5-5 FT), four boards, eight assists, one steal, and five turnovers in Saturday's loss to the Lakers.
Fantasy Impact:
Playing with a sore knee, Murray and his Nuggets gave it all they could tonight, but came up short against the overpowered Lakers. On the other hand, Murray was actually a lot more consistent shooting the ball this series than against the Clippers, something DFS owners should be happy about. This playoff journey will be remembered for a long time by the Nuggets, who erased two 3-1 series deficits in a row. And they couldn't have accomplished this remarkable feat without the explosiveness of Jamal Murray. He'll be an obvious early round pick in fantasy drafts next season, and the sky's the limit for his potential.
