LeBron James just misses triple-double in Game 1, drops 25/13/9

by Dan Titus | Lakers Correspondent | Thu, Oct 1st 1:31am EDT

LeBron James scored an efficient 25 points (9-17 FG, 2-4 3PT, 5-6 FT) along with a game-high 13 rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and one turnover across 36 minutes in a 116-98 blowout win against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

Fantasy Impact:

James was king of the court on Wednesday, falling one assist shy of a triple-double and was the engine of the Lakers offense. The Heat fell victim to several injuries in Game 1 (Goran Dragic, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler) but despite the Lakers good fortune, James looks locked in on his quest for a fourth championship. The Lakers will aim to go up 2-0 in the series on Friday.
