Doc Rivers reaches agreement with 76ers to become their new head coach

The Philadelphia 76ers and Doc Rivers have reached an agreement for Rivers to become Philadelphia's next head coach. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rivers is undoubtedly an upgrade over Brett Brown, who was ousted quickly after the Sixers first-round loss to the Celtics. Rivers is a good fit for the Sixers as a former point guard in the NBA and won a championship as head coach of the Celtics in 2008. There's no question that Rivers will have his work cut out for him. The Sixers have some substantial contractual hurdles to overcome along with apparent deficiencies in skillsets and chemistry issues, so he'll be busy in his first season at the helm.
