Jimmy Butler delivers triple-double in 47 minutes to steal Game 5

by Dan Titus | Heat Correspondent | Sat, Oct 10th 1:49am EDT

Jimmy Butler dropped 35 points (11-19 FG, 1-3 3PT, 12-12 FT) and added 12 rebounds, 11 assists, five steals, one block, and three turnovers across 47 minutes in a 111-108 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Fantasy Impact:

Butler was a true thoroughbred, only sitting for 48 seconds of Game 5 and carrying the Heat to victory. He did it all on offense, making challenging drives to the basket while knocking down his signature mid-range jumpers. He was also a dog on defense, snatching five steals and ultimately getting his second triple-double of the series. The Heat will look to avoid elimination again on Sunday, down 3-2 heading into Game 6.
