Mike Conley will not exercise 'early-termination clause,' stays with Jazz

Veteran point guard Mike Conley has chosen not to exercise his "early-termination clause" in his contract and will return to the Jazz for the 2020-2021 season making $34.5M. (Chris Haynes on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After making the playoffs last season, Conley seems on board to run it again next year with a corps of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell leading the way. Conley had a quiet regular season marred by injuries where he averaged 14.4 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game. Once the playoffs hit though, Conley kicked it into second gear and churned out 19.8 points, 5.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in an exciting and disappointing first-round loss to the Nuggets. Expect to see similar usage next season as his minutes will likely be monitored throughout his 14th season as a pro.
