Rodney Hood declines player option, becomes a free agent

Hood is fully recovered from a torn Achilles injury he sustained in early December. The 28-year-old will be ready to play once the NBA 2020-21 season starts. He will look to secure a multi-year deal with a new franchise. Hood averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.7 triples across 29.5 minutes over 21 games for the Trail Blazers last season.
