Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) won’t be ready to start the season

Grizzlies’ executive Zach Kleiman said that F Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) will not be ready to play when the season begins. (Mark Giannotto on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee in August. No timetable was given, but Jackson will be out “a minute” per Kleiman. The 21-year-old will continue to rehab and return at some point during the season. Jackson averaged 17.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.6 blocks over 57 games last year.
