Justise Winslow, who had a season-ending hip injury when the Grizzlies were in the bubble, will not be available for the opener but should return "early this season," per the Grizzlies' exectuive VP of basketball operations Zach Kleiman. (Chris Herrington on Twitter)
Winslow has a lot of offensive upside but he was snake bitten last year with injuries that limited him to just 11 games played for the Heat. He averaged 11.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 0.6 steals over 32 minutes per contest and could be a sneaky late round pick in upcoming fantasy drafts. It's best to keep tabs on his progression as he works his way back from injury, though.
