According to sources, the Sacramento Kings have extended a qualifying offer to G Bogdan Bogdanovic, making him a restricted free agent. (James Ham on Twitter)

What an interesting turn of events. A day ago, Bogdanovic was rumored to be headed to Milwaukee, and now that trade may have fizzled. The Kings are back in the driver seat, and in a position to match any offer for their young shooting guard. Nothing is certain but should he remain with the Kings, he'll be a mid-round pick with upside on a team that really only has De'Aaron Fox as a primary scorer.
