Jeff Teague agrees to one-year deal with Celtics

The Boston Celtics have reportedly signed point guard Jeff Teague to a one-year deal. (Adam Himmelsbach via Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Shortly after Brad Wanamaker signed with the Warriors, the Celtics found their replacement for a backup point guard to soak up minutes behind Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart. Teague was still a decent, low-end fantasy guard last season with Minnesota before being traded to Atlanta and taking on a reduced role. The 32-year-old has always been a strong contributor in assists, but his best years are likely behind him. It seems unlikely that he will be able to carve out much fantasy value in Boston, unless he sees 25+ minutes/game.
