Report: Derrick Rose likely to return this week

Derrick Rose has been taking full contact in practices since last Monday and he has been on track to return. During Sunday's broadcast of the Bulls-Cavs matchup, ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters revealed that his timeline for return is "likely sometime this week." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Rose's initial timetable was 4-6 weeks and this upcoming Friday marks the sixth week. The Bulls have five regular season games left and currently sit in the 3rd spot in the East. They play at Orlando on Wednesday, at Miami on Thursday and host Philadelphia on Saturday before traveling to Brooklyn the following Monday and finishing at home against Atlanta the 15th. Rose should be able to play in those final 2-3 games at the very least. He will likely be on a minutes restriction, but any playing time will help as the team heads into the playoffs with high hopes.
