D'Angelo Russell excited to play with Rubio this season

Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell told reporters Thursday that he is excited to play with Ricky Rubio this season in Minnesota. Russell said "the Rubio piece is actually different. I've never played with nobody at his caliber, somebody that brings what he brings to the game." (Dane Moore via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After coming over in a trade from the Warriors in February, Russell averaged 21.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 3.2 three-pointers during his 12 starts with Minnesota. While playing alongside Rubio may cause a dip in his assists, it should also help improve his efficiency (41.2% FG, 3.8 turnovers with the T'Wolves) which should bolster his already-strong fantasy value. Russell makes for a fine target in the third/fourth rounds of fantasy drafts.
