Fred VanVleet scored a team-high 27 points (9-23 FG, 4-13 3PT, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 40 minutes during Saturday's 120-116 loss to the Pelicans.

VanVleet has now led the Raptors in scoring in back-to-back contests. He has now scored at least 25 points in three of his last five games. The 26-year-old continues to take on an expanded offensive role for the Raptors and leads the team in field goal attempts. VanVleet is a top-50 player in category leagues, averaging 19.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 3.4 triples across 35.4 minutes this season. He will look to keep things rolling when the Raptors host the Celtics on Monday.
