Veteran Paul Millsap connected for four three-pointers on his way to 12 points (4-7 FG, 0-2 FT) in a win over Minnesota on Sunday. Millsap added four rebounds, one assist, and one turnover as well in 25 minutes of playing time.
A former fantasy basketball star, the 35-year-old is now in the twilight of his career and no longer offers much in the way of fantasy value anymore. All of his FG attempts tonight came from downtown - not attempting a single shot in the paint. He has also recorded only one steal and zero blocks on the entire season while averaging just 12.5 PPG. Millsap simply doesn't offer enough production to warrant ownership in standard leagues and can be left on waiver wires at this point of his career.
