Markelle Fultz (torn ACL) out for remainder of season

by Adam Koffler | Magic Correspondent | Wed, Jan 6th 9:36pm EST

Magic PG Markelle Fultz has been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the 2020-21 season. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Tough blow for Fultz who was just starting to get into a good rhythm as the Magic’s starting point guard. Cole Anthony stepped up in his absence on Wednesday night, and it should be expected that he would enter the starting lineup in the team’s next game on Friday against the Rockets, especially since Michael Carter-Williams is also on the shelf due to injury. Anthony makes for a good pickup if you’re in need of scoring, threes, and a few assists.
