Fantasy Impact:

Snell should find a role in the rotation, especially with Bogdan Bogdanovic being out with a fractured knee. Last year in 59 games with the Pistons, he averaged 27.8 minutes of playing time, 8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the floor and 40.2 percent from beyond the arc. It is a big unknown as to how Snell will respond to being back on the floor, and beyond that, fitting into a productive role on his new ball-club. Those things, along with his skill set, make it difficult to determine how to view him for fantasy purposes. For now, it may be best to keep him on waivers for season-long play, and on your radar as a potential flier option in DFS formats.
