Christian Wood posted 24 points (9-20 FG, 1-3 3PT, 5-8 FT), 18 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and two turnovers in a game-high 41 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Spurs.
Fantasy Impact:
With John Wall, Eric Gordon, and DeMarcus Cousins all sitting out once again, Wood made the most of his high-usage opportunity. The Spurs simply had no answer for him on the glass, as he was able to grab a career-high 18 rebounds, bringing his total to 33 rebounds over the last two games. It's only a matter of time before Houston is fully healthy, but Wood appears to be in a great position to continue posting elite numbers for the remainder of the season. Next up is Monday's tilt against the Bulls.
