Fantasy Impact:

Korkmaz has been sidelined since late December, so there is no indication of how many minutes he will be available for this contest. With Seth Curry still out, Korkmaz could provide an additional layer of scoring depth to the Sixers' back-court. However, with Tyrese Maxey's rise and a competitive match against the Thunder, it would be best to prepare as if Furkan will have a minimal role in this contest and possibly moving forward. In three games this season, he has averaged 18.3 minutes of playing time, 6.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game and is shooting a career-low 25.0 percent from the floor and 25.0 percent from beyond the arc. Even though Korkmaz has seen some growth in addressing some of the additional categories of the stat-sheet, he isn’t worth considering in any fantasy format at this time until we get a better sense of whether his role will be meaningful as the Sixers progress through the season.
