Killian Hayes’ injured right hip will not require surgery; however, the rookie will have to undergo eight weeks of rest and rehabilitation before being re-evaluated. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

With Hayes missing at minimum two-months, the Pistons will more than likely have a combination of Delon Wright, Derrick Rose, and Wayne Ellington to man the back-court. From a minutes played per game stand-point, not one of them maintains the lion's share of the playing time; however, the player with the most upside when healthy is Rose. In coming off the bench, he has averaged 23.7 minutes of playing time, 15.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game while shooting 44.0 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. It would be good to see how things shape-up due to this news; either way, whether it is Rose or Wright, both of them will seemingly have an excellent opportunity to create more value for your fantasy team. Wright and Ellington are worth picking up in deep-league season-long play. Depending on the night and slate, all three could be viable pieces to your line-up in DFS.
