Kentavious Caldwell-Pope catches fire from long range with 23 points

by Ross Jared Joswick | Nuggets Correspondent | Fri, Jan 22nd 3:51am EST

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope earned 23 points (7-10 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one block in a 113-106 victory over Milwaukee.

Fantasy Impact:

KCP was unconscious from beyond the arc on Thursday night and took the silver medal for scoring on his team. Savvy managers could have seen this coming considering how poorly Milwaukee tends to cover the perimeter (38.6 percent). Still, the two-guard shot 70 percent on 10 shots, all of which were from three-point distance. Caldwell-Pope filled the scoring void left by Dennis Schroder and clearly represented his role in the offense with his three-point barrage. KCP has provided a mixed bag of results this season but his conservative salary on most nights make him a risk worth taking in DFS.
