Fantasy Impact:
The news comes from head coach Monty Williams that Payne is on a wait-and-see basis for Saturday. It may not be news of the highest priority given how much the young guard has struggled this campaign. His silver lining this season has been his assist totals, which usually hover around 4 per game. Still, with Chris Paul rounding into form, it's hard to find value in Payne's output at present.
