Nicolas Claxton scores career-high 17 points in Brooklyn win Monday

by Ari Koslow | Nets Correspondent | Tue, Mar 2nd 12:10am EST

Nicolas Claxton scored 17 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3-3 FT) to go along with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks across 17 minutes of playing time off the bench in the Nets win Monday over the Spurs.

Fantasy Impact:

Claxton scored 10 points with four steals and two blocks last Thursday as he works his back into the rotation coming off shoulder surgery. He has played in just four games, but possesses the size that Brooklyn needs off the bench to potentially hold onto his spot in the rotation over the second half of the season. The Nets will have one more game against Houston on Wednesday before the All-Star break.
