Paul George leads Clips in losing effort on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Clippers Correspondent | Tue, Mar 2nd 10:35pm EST

Paul George put up 32 points (12-26 FG, 5-15 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with five rebounds, four assists, and one steal over 39 minutes as the Clippers fell to the 117-112 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Kawhi Leonard was a very late scratch on Tuesday so George was tasked with doing most of the heavy lifting on offense. He put up a great game in the box score but struggled in the clutch in the final two minutes of the game. The Clippers were down 113-109 and George went 1-for-4 from three over LA's next four possessions. The loss doesn't squarely fall on PG as both Leonard and Marcus Morris Sr., who was knocked out of the game with a concussion, were largely missing in action. The Clippers have now lost 5-of-8 games and will look to rebound on Thursday when they visit the Wizards.
