LeBron James (rest) will sit out his first game all season Wednesday night on the second night of a back-to-back against the Kings. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

James will still play in the All-Star Game on Sunday, but the Lakers have decided not to push him heading into the break. If you don’t count the All-Star Game, James will be getting 10 days of rest, which is huge for the 36-year old heading into the 2nd half of the season. He’ll have an opportunity to recharge his batteries before his attempt to lead the Lakers to a consecutive NBA Finals appearance. Look for a bunch of guys to see an uptick in usage on Wednesday night against the Kings, including Dennis Schroder and Talen Horton-Tucker.
