Bruce Brown Jr. scores 17 points in Brooklyn win Wednesday

Bruce Brown Jr. scored 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3PT, 4-6 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists in the Nets win Wednesday over the Rockets.

Fantasy Impact:

Brown, who was initially seeing playing time for his ability on the defensive side of the ball, has really taken advantage of the added opportunity on the offensive side of the ball in the absence of Kevin Durant (hamstring). With Durant likely to return in the second half of the season, Brown will likely move back down to the bench but he has certainly locked his spot in the rotation for the remainder of the season as a reliable contributor off the bench on both sides of the ball. The Nets will now head into the All-Star break with a record of 24-13, just a 0.5 game back of Philadelphia for first place in the Eastern conference.
