The Houston Rockets have traded Victor Oladipo to the Miami Heat for Kelly Olynyk, Avery Bradley, and 2021 first round swap rights. (Adrian Wojnarowski via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Although the fantasy impact of this move is not immediately apparent, Oladipo moves to a Miami team that is full of playmakers that includes Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, among others. With that in mind, it is possible that Oladipo's scoring upside is tempered by other weapons on the Heat. On the other hand, being the sole playmaker on the Rockets made Oladipo always at risk of being the target of opposing defenses. Overall, fantasy managers should remain optimistic of Oladipo's fantasy value with this move.
