De'Aaron Fox scores 31; Kings dumped by Wolves in 4th

by Jordan Bush | Kings Correspondent | Tue, Apr 6th 2:20pm EDT

Kings G De'Aaron Fox scored a game-high 31 points (8-16 FG, 2-4 3PT, 13-15 FT), and added six rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in a 116-106 loss to the Timberwolves.

Fantasy Impact:

Fox was top dog on the court for either team last night but the Timberwolves used a 4th quarter rally to prevail. The 15 free-throw attempts marks a season-high for Fox. If he can begin to get more FT attempts he can easily add a few points to his scoring average. If you aren't seeing it yet, here it is, DeAaron Fox compares very similarly to Bradley Beal at this point in their careers. The shooting edge goes to Beal and the assist and speed to Fox. Not to be too much of a broken record but fantasy managers know what they're getting from Fox and he's a must start. After a few nights off, Fox and the Kings will be back in action on Thursday when they host the Pistons. Look for him to flirt with another 30/10 game in that one.
