Caleb Martin secures 17 point double-double in loss to Lakers on Tuesday

by Matthew MacKay | Heat Correspondent | Wed, Apr 14th 8:36am EDT

Caleb Martin scored 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3PT) with 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a turnover across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 101-93 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fantasy Impact:

The second-year forward out of Nevada earned a start in place of P.J. Washington (ankle) who was ruled out ahead of Tuesday's contest. Martin excelled with increased opportunities on both ends of the court, draining three triples and collecting 10 rebounds while dishing five assists to mark a great individual performance. Assuming Washington remains out on Wednesday, fantasy managers can run back to Martin in most formats when the Hornets host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
