Kristaps Porzingis records a double-double in loss to the Knicks

by Jon Mathisen | Celtics Correspondent | Sat, Apr 17th 12:07pm EDT

Kristaps Porzingis scored 23 points (8-20 FG, 2-8 3PT, 5-5 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds, two blocks, one assist, one steal over 38 minutes as the Mavericks lost to the Knicks 117-109 on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Porzingis didn't have his best night shooting the rock (40% FG, 25% 3PT) but he still led the team in scoring. He secured his fourth double-double in the last five games and has been putting up stellar numbers over the last six contests, averaging 23.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. He should get the occasional day off to rest his knee but he's primed to be a major contributor with the fantasy playoffs around the corner.
