Michael Porter, Jr. stayed red hot on Monday night, scoring a team-high 31 points (12-19 FG, 3-6 3-pt, 4-5 FT) to go with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block in 36 minutes during a 120-96 win over Memphis.
Make that 70 points (35.0 PPG) in the past two games for MPJ who is blossoming as a true star right before our eyes. He could prove to be an absolute league-winner at this rate, as he takes full advantage of all the extra offensive opportunities given the injuries to Jamal Murray (torn ACL) and Will Barton (hamstring). Porter, Jr. is playing his way into potential first-round fantasy value next season and is handsomely rewarding those who took a chance on him in the early rounds this past winter. The Nuggets have three more games this week, starting Wednesday against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans.
